Made from grapes grown on Aegean soil then triple distilled with anise seeds to bring distinct smoothness to this traditional Turkish spirit. Licorice like on the palate, it can be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with water for a milky effect. Efe Raki is a clear brandy that is produced from grapes, raisins, and anise. It is similar to Greek Ouzo and French Pastis. When mixed with ice or water it becomes milky white. Efe Raki Black is Triple Distilled from 100% grape alcohol which is then distilled three times in old pot-stills with anise seeds. Spring water from the Bozdag mountain is used in the production to ensure superior quality. Enjoyed chilled or straight or by adding water then ice as a long drink.
